I really dug the Jack Johnson soundtrack.
My kids really dug the film.
We all win!
Yey!
This is the glorious and gorgeous last gasp of 2D animation, Jack Johnson didn't have to go that hard, and etc, but something even more important: this movie ends with the Man in the Yellow Hat and Curious George blasting off in a rocket ship from a museum exhibit and making circles around the earth with the intention of being home by dinner. I really miss when kids' movies were imaginative and heightened enough to pull off stuff like that. And yes - Jack Johnson didn't have to go that hard. But he did. It's so good.
It's got the cutest monkey you've ever seen, and a great Jack Johnson theme song. What's not to love.
Anybody who was born between 2000 and 2005 needs to protect this movie with their lives. It’s a true gem and it cannot be forgotten about.
Added to:
tears have been shed my friends (don’t ask)
If anyone dares tries to hurt George, they’re going down
i used to watch this heartwarming film so much when i was little. also why does the soundtrack genuinely slap
