I loved when they started to fight randomly at the strip club and the strippers kept doing there thing even though people were fighting and getting thrown across their stage. That’s called dedication and I wish I had the same dedication those strippers have.

Over the years been some classic films about The Yakuza.

This is another revenge film that we have seen a million times.

Young boy witnesses death of a loved one, eventually grows up 20 years and becomes a trained assassin.

A dull story, lame actors and it drags quite a bit. But if you persevere there are some decent fights and the ending get's bloody and violent.

Angry man with sword, can fight very well, wants revenge on yakuza guy that killed his mom when he was small. Now they kill girfriend when he is grown up. Big mistake. He fight a lot... is what angry people do. He has very pretty neigbour girl, but still he no make love. Just fight. It's what some people need... just fight.

Unglaubwürdig und ziemlich übertrieben. Hat ein paar nette Actionszenen aber auch diese sind meistens zu hektisch geschnitten. Die Story ist 08/15 und ziemlich belanglos.
--> kann man mal machen wenn man nix zu tun und lust auf ein bisschen martial arts hat. Kann man aber auch lassen und sich the raid 1&2 nochmal anschauen.

I honestly didn't expect that it is so much fun watching Tony Schiena kicking some Yakuza ass! It's like a low-budget version of JOHN WICK meets THE PUNISHER, but executed in a satisfying way. DARC is full of violence, nudity, blood and rolling heads. The action scenes (some shootouts, martial-arts and sword fights) are well choreographed and executed viciously, although the editing was a bit shaky at times. But besides that, not much to complain about. If you're a B-action enthusiast, give this flick a go!

It's your standard low budget action flick, dark for the sake of it, gory as hell and the female characters are there just to take care of the lead or die tragically in front of him . The action is a mixed bag, with some of it being ok but most fails thanks to being overly edited and poorly directed. The movie is not awful but it's trapped in a mix of generic and mediocrity that prevents it from being anything worthwhile.

Another movie that was just okay. Acting is pretty bad, Armand Assante was alright, but that was about it for acting. I did enjoy the final 20 minutes of revenge action, it was pretty exciting, which raised it up from the one and a half I was gonna rate this.
It's an avoidable movie, but who knows maybe you will enjoy it more than I did!

Película de venganza poco convencional. Quizás me sobra la parte del flashback, pero entiendo que esté. Darc podría bien ser una película de The Punisher.

This shit was dumb as hell

Why the hell are the apartment doors open, nearly everytime? Much subtitles. Nothing really special and the story is boring. Often told in flashbacks. Not even the violence was it worth.

Warum zum Teufel sind die Wohnungstüren fast immer offen? Viele Untertitel. Nichts wirklich Besonderes und die Geschichte ist langweilig. Oft in Rückblenden erzählt. Nicht einmal die Gewalt war es Wert.

Action is cool but the script is not good

A different kind of Yakuza movie. I liked it.

Predictable dialogues, equally stupid villains and heroes, all set against the fun exotic backdrop of ~Japan~ and ~the yakuza~

Better than I thought it would be.

Love the babe next door, she was a badass. Pretty good movie and would recommend.

You know what I like in a modern action movie? Constant quick cuts and women regularly being brutalized or abused. Yeah, that’s never a bad thing.

Pure blood, guts, and fun. Simple story, simple characters, and a lot of violence. This movie comes in hot and exits right on time.
