If there is one thing that’s undeniable about Dicks: The Musical is that it never pretended to be anything else than a crude, outlandish, and bonkers take on The Parent Trap. It loses some of its steam halfway through the film but the finale song & sequence ends the movie on a high note.
Also, there’s this specific scene with Nathan Lane and I’m not sure if I’ve laughed harder this year. You’ll know it once you see it.
We need the Sewer Boys to host the next Oscars.

There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who might want to see a ridiculously irreverent musical riff on “The Parent Trap” in which the estranged identical twins aren’t cute tweenage children but rather grown-ass men who sing about sacks of cum and clearly want to have sex with each other… and those who might not. I have fantastic news for the first group.
