... Okay
A lot of hints of Hitchcock and De Palma's mastery over building tension. but it ultimately falls very flat.

Un poliziotto dimentica la sua pistola a casa, causando la morte del collega. Il mio primo pensiero a questa scena è stato: "Ma chi è che ti ha addestrato a te? Topo Gigio?"
De Palma made a straight to DVD thriller about Danish cops seeking revenge against ISIS terrorists. It's a De Palma film, so it's not completely without merit, but yikes this is rough. I heard he had significant issues during this production, but that doesn't excuse the fact that it has no energy to it and looks as bland as any other straight to video thriller. The climactic scene in particular is beyond embarrassing, and its depictions of the terrorists leaves a bad taste. Best avoided unless you're a De Palma completionist.
I’ve gotta say I was pretty pleasantly surprised by the latest directorial effort from the masterful Brian De Palma, especially in the face of what I’ve heard online. This film honestly feels more like Passion than Redacted, which is to say it’s a clumsy modern day recreation of the classic De Palma style, albeit with some unique plot elements and gimmicks. I think this film was less impressive technically than his last film, with less examples of the tricks and…

Such a terrible De Palma film.
The 2019 film Domino directed Brian De Palma and his first movie since 2012's Passion isn't a return to form for the helmer its more in the vain of those Eastern European shot movies Lundgren,Van Damme or Seagal appear in that litter supermarket entertainment section shelves every week with only a whiff of what made previous De Palma movies thrilling to watch.
Domino stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who most audiences will recognise from Game of Thrones as Danish police officer Christian…
It may not be Brian De Palma's strongest film, but it's far from a failure, being chock full of the bravura set-pieces and camera work that we watch any De Palma to enjoy.
Dunno what I was thinking I acc do kind of hate it
I hope you're embarrassed Brian.
Shit production can’t stop a master from being a master. It might hurt not to see Domino’s final form, as Brian intended, but it’s far more depressing to not appreciate it as it is, and its amazing but endangered dareness to direct.
Couldn’t even tell you the names of either lead, no cool de Palma shots, didn’t really feel like anyone tried, feels made for tv
