The nice thing about watching a Family Guy version of Star Wars is that there's enough lifted music and visual sequences that it almost leaves you feeling like you watched the actual movie thereby providing that sporadically-needed fix of the original trilogy. Almost. it's not the pure smack, but it's that little dose of methadone when you're jonesin'.
As far as this entry goes, it's like many an episode of Family Guy: some jokes hold up to repeat viewing, plenty don't, and there's now a few that are almost bittersweet in retrospect (Aw, Darth Stewie is smashing Leonard Nimoy's mailbox. RIP). Overall it's an easy rewatch that you can quickly get sucked into when flipping around after dinner.
