  More my speed than the first entry—its less frantic, felt more lived in, and the the duo of Emily Rudd and Sadie Sink worked way more for me than our leads in 1994.

  I originally groaned when I saw the near two hour run time… with bloated slop-fest vibes threatening to kill my mood but color me surprised… this thing flew by for me with the 45 minute buildup kinda hitting my sweet spot? I liked how the characters felt more fleshed out and how the lore comes into play—and yes, the Friday the 13th/Sleepaway Camp callouts I’ve seen people mention are there but I couldn’t help but notice the nod to the 2009 Friday the 13th remake via the underground tunnels! Bold…
