Ugh. The plot is "how to become a nurse to get a rich man." Seriously, and they aren't making it funny like they did in those early 30's gold digger movies or anything written by Anita Loos. You sure wouldn't want to be a nurse to have a career or -- dear God, no -- HELP people. I mainly watched it because I think Una Merkel is really funny, but they didn't give her much to do. Same thing with Buddy Ebsen, who gets a few really dumb jokes. The focus is on the beautiful blonde who all the boys want, playing pretty boringly by Florence Rice. Still, I watched the whole thing, in part because I was fascinated by all of the nurse training stuff from the period.
Oh, there is a pretty complex disaster scene in the last third of the movie. They put out some effort on that part.
