六人行:当我们又在一起, Friends: la reunión, 老友记重聚特辑
i can't believe they invited justin bieber to this reunion but couldn't get freaking paul rudd even over the phone ?!
I want a "Friends: The Reunion" spinoff that sweeps everything Matthew Perry said off the cutting room floor and uses it to explore his addiction struggles and rehab visits. There's clearly some deep-seated pain in Perry's life, which he briefly touches on when he tells his castmates it felt "like I was going to die if (the audience) didn’t laugh (at me)" every night during the sitcom's production. But the reunion special isn't interested in the complexities of the past. It would rather celebrate nostalgia without getting into that dark stuff. It's like the house party that's happening while the guy in the corner is crying.
Perry confides that "it wasn't healthy" how he lived for the praise during those…
So just when I thought Friends couldn’t get any less funny, they get James Corden to host the reunion episode.
what blackmail does james corden have on hollywood? why is he always booked and busy when he's one of the most hated people in hollywood? he can't keep getting away with this!
No reason to rate this, really, as I've never seen the show in full, only bits and pieces on syndication. So watching this was like putting on a special feature for a movie I've never seen. The vibes were off. This reunion is sadly hosted by James Corden, a very scary man who is seemingly everywhere, an omnipresent specter who says every word and question at maximum volume. Isn't he mic'd up? Why is he yelling *all* the time? But try as he might, James Corden is no match for the pleasant energy of the Friends cast, who gracefully stumble through this reunion saying "remember this?" and chuckling while they think about their 4 million dollar payouts. They should've written…
can't help but wonder if James Corden has ever considered pursuing a career as a foghorn
+5 for the reunion
-2.5 because James Corden
James Corden really does have that special touch.
Holy shit, after watching this I am rooting for David and Jennifer more than I ever did for Ross and Rachel! And how hilarious was Lisa freaking out about the bug? And Matt seemed so genuinely into everything that was happening!
For me "Friends" isn't just a series, it's a constant in my life. I watched it as a little girl. I watched it as a teenager. I watch it as an adult. I watched it alone. I watched it with parents. I watched it with friends. I watched it with boyfriends. I watched it when I was happy. I watched it when I was sad. I watched it for more than 25 years. It's one of the few shows…
