This animated short, attached to Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella, is quite simply, utter bullshit. Without any sense of attachment or any interesting plotline, Disney makes the little kids in the audience giggle at creepy snowman larvae. FUCKING SNOWMAN LARVAE. A soulless cash-grab to the maximum, not even Olaf can save this short from falling into the darkest depths of tedious animation.
I'm done. Disney Animation, go home, take care of your fever, and come back when you're healthy. And if I see one more FUCKING SNOWMAN LARVAE, I'm going to flip my shit. Fuck this.
Please see Cinderella though, just arrive late so you don't have to witness this moldy pile of garbage.
“She thinks you’re an idiot! Well, clearly, she’s wrong.”
Brevity has its virtues (hence the wantonness of my own writing). It is the soul of wit, as the Bard wrote. It eliminates waste and the opportunity for distraction. It is not necessary, of course, but it can be beneficial, both on the page (as in the George Saunders observation that “[a] novel is just a story that hasn’t yet discovered a way to be brief”) and on the screen (as in Hitchcock’s declaration that “[t]he length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder”).
Since the advent of the feature-length film, one of the most popular outlets for short subjects has been the animated…
“The cold never bothered me anyway.”
The only part of my experience with the Cinderella movie that wasn’t very pleasant was this seven minute short they screened before it. I actually enjoyed Frozen quite a bit and thought that the characters and music numbers were very interesting. Unfortunately, in this short despite having the same characters and actors voicing them, the musical numbers were far from memorable. It plays out more as a TV segment than an actual part of the Frozen universe and I honestly hope this doesn’t receive an Oscar nomination because it doesn’t deserve it. I don’t know where they went wrong considering everyone is back from the original film (directors, song writers, voice actors, and so…
Good news, parents! Frozen Fever only runs 7 minutes, so your kids can watch it 60-70 times a day as opposed to the 4-5 times a day they watch the movie!
At least (like Frozen) it's good.
Just so you know my real rating for this based on how much joy it brings me is 5 stars but I‘m not prepared to do that to myself today.
I have to assume people who hate this just hate happiness?? They don’t want to be delighted?? Do they not like cute things???
I really wanna get back to watching full films 😀
I have a crush on Anna though so new Anna content is always welcome.
Don’t really get why this was made, however I guess I’m not the target audience so I should just be glad I won’t watch this again lol.
I've seen many short animated films that I normally like, but Frozen Fever isn't one of them.
