“My life freeballs around kids. I just wanted a night to need that.”
Bad Moms knock-off but with Toni Collette and Molly Shannon so i’m definitely not gonna complain. Collette is a standout. heartfelt performances and nice message about women friendship and parental sacrifice, but it’s neither as whacky and energetic as it’s inspiration, nor does it fully commit to said message.
it’s disjointed and almost episodic because it jumps between the moms, and the husbands & kids at weird moments. the character arcs feel equally patched together. and why all the crude shit jokes... some of the humor works but definitely not that. quite decent, however i would recommend Bad Moms over this.
