Following Oorai's victory over Saunders, the school's next opponent is Anzio. This is an OVA which covers the battle of Oorai versus Anzio, which was not fully shown in the regular anime series.

This is hands down the best Girls und Panzer thing I've seen. There's some pretty bad sound effects, and a random plot tie that is thrown in and never delved into, but everything great about this special outshines most of it's problems.
Anchovy is too lovable of a character, and all of these Italian anime girls are so enjoyable dumb that it's just an overall joy to watch. All they do is eat and plan battles poorly, and it's genuinely entertaining to see them do both. The visuals (especially the tank battles) look incredible, and better than anything from the show or the movie. The humor is also a step up as well! Definitely worth a watch!

I fell victim to 3am brain and online marketing when I bought this. "£7.00 for a Bluray that contains one forty minute episode? WHY NOT?" Since this short film is essentially just an episode of the show (and also happens to be probably my second or third favourite battle in the series), I'll sum up my thoughts on the series as a whole.
