Brothers Grimsby, The Brothers Grimsby
the final boss of sacha baron cohen thirst-watching. hp is almost completely drained; the SBC Battalion’s shields are gravely weakened. there were moments when we didn’t think we’d pull through (elephant sex scene our soldiers refuse to go into detail about). in the end, we managed to emerge alive. but make no mistake: this was no victory.

a return to the glory days of gross-out comedy. a lot falls flat, but the poop / elephant combo is the formative stuff of legend. my youth had jim carrey climbing out of a rhino's ass. today's kids have... well, no spoilers, but you wouldn't believe me if i told you.

The Ace Ventura spy spinoff we never received. Has an all-time comedy shock moment within its runtime, but there's a lot of fun to be had here overall.
I got a fun story with this one. Back when I worked at the movie theater, we had an older couple come in to watch this movie. It’s important to note the the guy was in a wheelchair and his wife was not.
Now I don’t know about other movie theaters, but with the AMC that I worked at, the handicap ‘seat’ is just a space. It’s an area where someone can sit in their wheelchair while watching the film. There’s also always a regular seat next to the space for whoever is with that person. This guy got his tickets online, so he did not know that. So I rip their tickets and they went in. Also important to…
I laughed so hard at this, and I feel so terrible about it.

I don't know what possessed me to eat my kitchari during this.
There is no way Sacha can ever top elephant bukkake party, right?
RIGHT?
Every time it got better it was followed by a moment that made it ten times worse.
Monumentally stupid but, I must admit, pretty funny. Leterrier might not be much of an action director but he's got Oliver Wood shooting for him here, and so even though this is cut to shreds it at least looks like the real thing, something most action parodies don't even bother with. Plus it has Scott Adkins and is like 75 minutes minus the credits.
It's been a long while since a movie actually managed to make me physically sick, but Grimsby (known as The Brothers Grimsby in some areas) succeeded in doing so. At its best, Grimsby is a rather boring film, but at its very worst, the lowbrow humour is enough to put off a viewer like myself not only as it was utterly stupid, but the imagery was absolutely disgusting and it's the sort of crassness that leaves me madder as the film keeps going on. Even at only 82 minutes, Grimsby's display of poor taste is enough to leave one angered at all of its pointlessness, it's embarrassing.
Sacha Baron Cohen is a man whose comedy I can find entertaining when…
There's something to be said for a film as unapologetically insensitive as this. In a time where everything is offensive, it's a delight to see a film give so little a shit about who it offends. Cohen and Strong have an awkward chemistry that mostly succeeds and there's a tiny bit of heart in this as well that elevates it considerably. On top of that, (minor insubstantial spoilers ahead) the scumbag Donald Trump (who may well be President of the United States) contracts AIDS from Daniel Radcliffe, another AIDS stricken boy in a wheelchair is falsely accused of murder, and a FIFA referee is shot and murdered without reason. And I laughed SO hard at each of these tasteless jokes.…

Las Vegas Weekly review. Didn't laugh at the outrageous genitalia humor, but did laugh at Mark Strong maintaining his stonily serious expression throughout all of the outrageous genitalia humor, as if he's genuinely in a shitty Bond ripoff.
had to hold myself at times cause it’s kinda gross! but did giggle a little... it’s a roller coaster!
How does Sacha Baron Cohen become this unfunny as soon as he reads from a script.
how does someone come up with an idea like this, then people hear it and like the idea so much it gets turned it a film?
Added half a star because I actually laughed a lot despite how terrible this film is
Sacha Baron Cohen’s northern accent = Mike Myers’ Scottish accent
Other than that, no other thoughts I’m able to articulate
