  Your annoying cousin watched Deadpool, Scott Pilgrim, Wanted, Ready Player One and everyone of the most annoying movies ever made and then made an even more annoying movie.
  In this movie:
  There is a gun with "kindness" written on it.
  There is a character who wears a mask that says "fuck" on it.
  Someone says "Never bring a spork to a gun fight".
  If you like that, if you like people getting shot in the dick, if you like video-game-graphic bullet counts, if you think cocaine is hilarious, if you like annoying covers of the most annoying songs, you might be annoying enough to like this annoying movie.
  I hate movies now.
  TIFF19 is ruined.

  clearly thinks it's doing The Running Man meets like idk Scott Pilgrim i guess? either way it's honestly much closer to Wanted lol and with any luck, it will be destined for the same $1 dvd bin that that one can exclusively be found in now. some truly bottom-barrel joke writing and terrible editing/action that they try to cover up with John Wick lighting (as if that's what makes those movies work) so thank god for radcliffe who is funny enough to make parts of it watchable.

  Guns Akimbo doesn’t take a lot of time to breathe, and that’s crazy, since the lead has severe asthma. The pace is frantic, and perhaps it is 100% coincidence Daniel Radcliffe’s character resembles Robert Pattinson in Good Time. Both films belong to the frantic genre, but of course, they’re two different films. 

  Guns Akimbo is hilarious at times. Especially, watching Harvey Pothead trying to function with guns bolted to his hands. From going to the bathroom to opening a door, life pretty much sucks when you have guns for hands. The only positive? Perhaps you can shoot some bad guys dead while trying to save your ex?

  maybe one of the reasons genre movies are so bad now is because so much of our lives are conducted online and no one has figured out a compelling or at least non-embarrassing way to depict it on screen? and also because none of these dummies seem to understand just how shitty CGI gunshot wounds look.
