One of the most American movies you’ll find. In terms of style, subjects, and deeper themes I really can’t think of a more entertaining, hilarious, and (kind of) depressing look at rural America. There’s also so much heart in this that you wouldn’t expect. Haven’t had this much fun in a minute. Why can’t Mr. Beast’s videos be more like this?

I watched this in my 7th grade English class. (Some of the kids joked that it sounded like a porn title.) To this day I still have no idea what it had to do with what we were learning in the class. We watched part of it on one day, and part of it on the next day. After the first day, the teacher said whoever correctly predicted who would get 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st places would get to choose the next book the class read. The kid who got it right (he cheated) picked Unwind by Neal Shusterman. I really like the book, so I was glad he won. Near the end of the year we even made…
