Short Review:
Shoutout to Cam for showing my this borderline hentai at 2 AM, much respect brother. Day (??) of quarantine and honestly watching this was rather hilarious and lighthearted and I had a blast. Now let’s play a fun game: how many followers can I loose from logging this! Side note: crazy to think this is the creator of Death Note.

But seriously, the insane tonal shift of this OVA compared to the series is hilarious. Sure the series was hyper-sexual with lots of anime boob physics, but it was still a serious and dark show about a zombie apocalypse. This was essentially a beach episode with so much t/a and humor it felt like a well animated softcore parody. (That’s not necessarily a bad thing)
If you want top notch boob animation that’s under 20 minutes, here ya go.

I have never seen this series and I have a feeling this might make more sense if I have. What I can say is there is an abnormal amount of big and bouncy anime boobs and butts. Meanwhile there are a group of people stranded on an island. While they are cooking they realize the island they are on is full of a toxin that will make people hallucinate if you breathe it in. Basically, there are a bunch of people tripping on an island and some weird family stuff happening. If you are down for fan service this is the OVA for you.

The High School Of The Dead series is one of my favourite anime’s. It’s got a lot of fan service, LKE A LOT, but underneath that is a really good stylised horror/drama about a bunch of kids trying to ride out the end of the world. This OVA though skips out on everything that made the series great and instead only gives you the fan service. A pretty big let down given how the anime left so many open threads.

R.I.P. Daisuke Satō. I did enjoy the series even though it ended on a meh note. This OVA is purely just fan service with no zombie violence at all. If you don't know about the series, then you'd probably wouldn't enjoy this unless you're the type to be interested in the "other" kind of "plot".
Such a shame, I really thought there might be something seen with the Takashi-Saeko ship because that's really the only reason I finished the series because frankly, Saeko's the only girl I like but I guess I'll just have to deal with hot women *sigh.
