  Standard viral outbreak in a prison on a remote island forces the remaining guards n prisoners to work together to try and survive while looking for a way off the island. The prison provides the perfect backdrop as it creates a much more claustrophobic feel. The cast is mostly unlikable or unmemorable aside from the leading lady with the the shaved head, the carribean lady with the meat cleaver, and the older guard who saved her early on. The deaths felt like they were supposed to be emotional but u just never really care about most of the characters. The infected looked decent. They were all pale with black veins visible just beneath their skin.

  "Inmate Zero" is deplorable in every possible articulation. From its archaic writing to its cruddy technicalities; everything being presented with the label of 'Cheap' written all over it.

  
  Damn, I hardly get to experience these 'Gems'! Atrocious performances, absurdities in editing, next to nothing character build-ups, same cliched narrative, dirt- cheap CGI.
  Man! This indeed tested my patience!

  I rarely get hypercritical in my reviews, as I apprehend and give respect to all sorts of storytelling in their diversified iterations!
  But I can't have the same level of admiration here. As this was frankly unbearable!
  If I'm being brutally honest, it bored me to death. Wanted to quit midway, but as a critic; I shall completely attend the entire runtime before scrutinizing.
  Thankfully I survived!

  Do yourself a favour, and keep your distance! Atleast for the sake of your precious time!

  Many bad overused tropes. Unnecessary racism, Homophobia, misogyny. There was potential but the script and acting are very bad. The make up and practical effects were great. The type of zombie should have been scary, but the script was just so bad it couldn't make fear believable.

  The first film I have seen released in the new decade. Of course it was a zombie movie. This was a cool little low budget survival horror. Gave me a fair amount of anxiety. The effects are decent to good. These are the running zombies and they look real good compared to other movies I have seen. One little thing that made me like this movie more was Skeeter Davis- end of the world, playing muffled in the distance. It reminded me of fallout 4.

  This movie is actually called Inmate Zero. I put the info in TMDB, hopefully it changes. I rented it on prime video under above name.

  Последний фильм режиссера мне не понравился, но я решил дать ему шанс и посмотреть предыдущий...про зомби в тюрьме! То есть не про зомби, а про заражённых страшным вирусом, но какая уж тут разница.
  Лысая заключенная с военным прошлым и казнью в скором будущем пытается выбраться наружу вместе с разношёрстной группой малозапоминающихся персонажей. Среди ходячих штампов имеются гей, хитростью пролезший в женскую тюрьму, доктор на таблетках, злобный охранник и охранник подобрее, крутая чернокожая мамка, чернокожая наркоманка и т.д. Никто не вызывает интереса, не говоря уж о симпатии, всё это было уже много раз, но кровь хлещет фонтанами, а люди гибнут каждые пять минут. Может, кому-то такой британский аттракцион будет в самый раз. И всё же Нил Маршалл делал это намного лучше.

  "Serangan zombie di penjara"

  Alesan gua nonton film ini selain random adalah gua suka sama tema yang digunakan. Jadi tema film ini adalah zombie, cuma latarnya adalah penjara. Jadi gua penasaran aja bagaiamana caranya zombie menyerang di dalam penjara dan film ini full 98% berlokasi di penjara tersebut, gua mengharapkan kaya TWD season 3 atau 4 gtu yang dipenjara, cuma ekspetasi gua agak kejauhan untuk film ini.

  Karna film ini tidak menyuguhkan apa yang gua mau tapi beberapa ada yang menarik. Seperti perdebatan antara sipir dan tahanan. Karna kan mereka harus bekerja sama untuk bisa lolos dari sana, cuma namanya beda profesi yang satu penjaga dan yang satu lagi penjahat sudah jelas pasti ada perkelahian dan perbedaan pendapat di sana.…

  Not a bad movie. Some nice visuals and cool ideas. Film quality was decent and the performances were well enough. But there were a lot of odd choices made on how to progress the movie and in terms of the plot's own "science/physics.

  I watched the entire film thinking it was set in the 60-70s so imagine my shock when I saw the modern helicopter in the final scene.

  But otherwise, it was quite a bland movie and all the characters were really two-dimensional. I barely got attached to any of them before they were killed off.

  Has very low expectations expectations and I definitely felt disappointed, I feel like the main problem is the main character, there were many actresses in the movie that were better than her that could have been a better lead.

  I is for Inmate Zero on Tubi

  I've seen more shitty fly by night dime store zombie films throughout the decades than I care to admit, but this one was surprisingly legit. Entertaining even. Nice gore, better acting than most of its ilk.
