Film #1 at Glasgow Film Festival 2018
This film is a masterpiece. This is coming from a massive Wes Anderson fan and someone who just sat in a crowded opening gala at a film festival, so I may be slightly biased and/or buzzing with excitement.
Isle of Dogs makes fantastic creative choices, merges them with beautiful animation style and a little dash of Wes Ander-isms to make something completely stunning. The movie may be one of his most charming to date, framed in a manner that only Wes can pull off without it being jarring or off putting.
