This is an enjoyable movie.
For all the stars in it, this movie stays pretty focused. Everybody is after the loot; they just take different ways to get there.
The cast is fun. Maybe Sid Caesar is rather bland, but Jonathan Winters is a delight, and Phil Silvers is also a gem. Peter Falk doesn't have a lot of screen time, but he makes the most of it as a brash cab driver. And Ethel Merman makes her presence felt but doesn't wear out her welcome.
The scene in which Winters trashes a gas station is outstanding. Some bits at an airport make me realize that the makers of both "1941" and "Airplane!" had a look at this movie before they went to work.
And I have to say that the last scene is perfect for this movie.
Definitely worth a look.
