Jessica (Ashley Denise Robinson) is being terrorized by Kevin (Will Madden). Enlisting the help of her friend Elena (Callie Hernandez), they work together after the police claim that he wasn't breaking any laws. The story rang true: women aren't often believed and if they are, they aren't taken seriously.
Jessica plays his messages for Elena and we find Kevin to be unrelenting and unwilling to take "no" for an answer. He also finds himself to be the one suffering and doesn't take Jessica's feelings into consideration.
Elena comes up with clever ways to try to get "rid" of Kevin. While the film is minimalist, it is also effective. Ultimately, this indie film is enrapturing.

Liked the way it treated spirits and the concept of haunting.

Quiet, somber, & unexpected. I thought this would be a thriller but to my surprise this was a somber story that touches on so much. The directors touches on New Mexico Landscape was beautiful & the usage of it creates an eerie atmosphere
A charming 73 min indie film about 2 women figuring out how to get rid of an undead stalker ghost that keeps following them. It's not a horror film as it's more of a quirky artsy dramedy. Kevin aka clueless ghost dude paces back and forth blabbering on and on about how much he loves Jessica whilst Jessica and her friend Elena sit in a secluded house watching him. I don't think I'd watch it again but I did enjoy it's awkwardness.
I'm hardwired to love anything beautifully shot in the American southwest that features many tumbleweeds, cloudy skies and women murdering guys.
at its outset, Jethica resembles the dusty desert crime films of the 90s before evolving into something much more idiosyncratic as a supernatural revenge comedy; the tone ends up being as inconsistent as that sounds but it’s never boring

The story is unique, give me more tales from this mystics land.
I don’t foresee many audiences vibing with this one. It’s a bizarre little film. And slow. And tonally inconsistent. However, once it ended, I thought to myself, “That was a cool little indie”.
It’s an interesting and imaginative concept but obviously impeded by a low budget. I would’ve personally enjoyed more establishment though. Like, maybe seeing Jessica’s life with her stalker pre-New Mexico and more on Elena’s familial spell placed on the land. Stuff like that. It’s also labeled as a hodgepodge of varying genres but it’s only semi-humorous when the camera is fixed on Jessica’s lispy stalker as he rambles on and on and on. It’s definitely more of a mellow supernatural drama with a core theme of women supporting…
This was a mild horror that won't be scary but it'll have some charm to it.
It might get a few chuckles out of some viewers but it won't hit everyone's funny bone the same way. The movie was beautifully shot and the low budget feel of it makes for the charm in this.
The short runtime doesn't hurt the watch of this movie. However, it won't be a must see for people expecting more than a middle of the road horror comedy. This did make me think of pairing this with A Ghost Story (2017) or I Am a Ghost (2012) cause everyone's ghost has a story after all.
Overall this was a decent watch.
