keke palmer’s man in the mirror is better than the original and im not afraid to say it
the irony of this movie is the ungodly thoughts i have about jeremy jordan throughout its duration
I’m sorry
But Dolly’s surprise solo in the last performance is the most powerful moment in cinematic history
Look, we all know Dolly Parton is a beautiful woman, but that doesn't make it not gross-a-rooney when the character playing her grandson looks lovingly into her eyes and calls her his "gorgeous grandma." Tone it down, movie.
It's got great music and a few chuckle worthy moments but that still doesn't hide the fact that "Joyful Noise" is poorly written and really not that well made. Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton are clearly having fun but the rest of the cast all range from mediocre to straight up awful. It runs far longer than it needs to, isn't all that funny or uplifting and has no idea what it wants to be. I knew I'd finally have to watch this after avoiding it for nearly a decade and while it isn't the worst thing in the world, it's still far from good.
I just about laid square eggs when they sang “pulling up to church with my homies”
When Randy busted out the church cyphers at the end I was fucking dead
