The premise is simple; a young woman gets transported in time back to 1996 to try and fix the perceived flaws in her life. As a nice twist, she doesn't get transported into her younger body... she instead finds herself face to face with... well, herself. Some funny 90's era jokes peppered in, and fantastic performances from Shiri Appelby and Elizabeth Mitchell. Hannah Marks is spot on casting as the younger Kristin, and Judd Nelson has a nice turn as the quiet father.
As often happens this time of year, after watching one stale Lifetime/Hallmark Christmas movie after the other, I find myself wondering why the hell I put myself through it. This is the answer. A real gem.
