Kung Fury is stupid but stupid fun. It's a spoof of '80s action movies and arcade games. It took no prisoners with '80s cliches.
Kung Fury is a Kickstarter independent film but it managed to get David Hasselhoff for a cameo appearance and the Hoff to perform in a music video for the film. Along with a video game tie-in called, Kung Fury: Street Rage.
The film uses a lot of CGI and a synthpop soundtrack to pull off retro '80's vibes and an arcade movie experience, but it somehow works. It will create some visual '80's nostalgia.
Kung Fury is about a time-traveling cop who hunts down the greatest criminal of all time, Kung Führer Adolf Hitler. It's strange but rad!
