Kathanayakudu, Chennai King
Except for a few good stretches and heartwarmingly beautiful climax, it ends up a tiring and dull watch for most of its run.
This movie predicted Rajini’s entrance into politics and Chandramukhi 2
I vividly remember watching this movie when I was 5, and all I remembered were the good scenes. The movie felt like a 10/10 back then, now with a refresher, sadly it isn’t anymore.
Sympathy is indeed a powerful tool, but use it right, the tempo of the film is ruined by comedy and random songs, the wait is too long for the beautiful climax, but sure it’s worth it.
6/10
this movie is horribly made and is way too long. the last scene was so emotional, it made every rewatch worth it. this movie will always be a comfort 🥺
Remake of another bad movie which was then remade again to another bad movie. Didn't like the movie for a lot of reasons, namely its slow pace, the bad acting and the bad directing.

One of the strengths of "Kuselan" is the performances of the cast, particularly Pasupathy and Rajinikanth. Pasupathy delivers a nuanced and emotional performance as the humble barber, while Rajinikanth shines in a supporting role as the charismatic movie star.
The film's music, composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, is also noteworthy, with several memorable songs that complement the film's emotional tone.
However, some critics have criticized the film for its slow pacing and lack of depth in its character development. The film also deviates significantly from the original Malayalam film in terms of its storyline and tone, which may disappoint some viewers.
Overall, "Kuselan" is a heartfelt and emotional film that is worth watching for its strong performances and its exploration of friendship and the impact of fame. While it may not be a perfect film, it is a solid remake that showcases the talents of its cast and crew.
boring but the ending makes it perfect
friendship doesn’t look at age, color, wealth. nothing!! friendship makes the world go round 💛
