If only Julianne Moore didn't look so cute on the poster... then I might have not been tempted to watch this one.
It follows the same plotlines of every other romcom of the early 2000's, except they completely waste Julianne Moore and Pierce Brosnan's acting skills. Their characters have a lot of chemistry between one another and zero charisma on each one of them. Everything is just like a Deus Ex Machina because it seemed like things simply fell from the sky.
A good cast do all they can to elevate a silly and formulaic script. Julianne Moore and Pierce Brosnan make for likable leads and share solid chemistry but their stuck in a bland and unfunny romantic comedy that never really comes together or gives them anything worthwhile to do. It's short and harmless but almost instantly forgettable.
