Yeah, it was honestly better than I thought it would be. I laughed quite a bit more than expected. There was a scene that got me, and the folks I watched this with, laughing for a solid minute or two, straight.
I need more Maya Rudolf and Gillian Jacobs in my life, and less Debby Ryan... god, what the hell is she doing in this?
Also, just an observation, but there were a few 180 breaks between cuts that just stick out. I mean, I know this isn't a film that should be considered as a high standard in filmmaking, but come on... get your shit together filmmakers.
But other than that (and some cheesy ass moments), it's a good time, if you're looking for it.
Perfect for Mother's Day... or just something to watch with your mom.
