  watched with the italian side of my family — uncle said he “didn’t care for it” because of all the “italian stereotypes” like the pasta and the vespas. i was like, dude, you have a vespa in your front yard, you made spaghetti for dinner, and you named your kids leonardo and giuseppe. come on! 

  anyway, this is the first pixar movie i’ve liked enough to rewatch multiple times in … over a decade? have said this before, but i so much prefer when they tell smaller scale, character-driven stories. the main trio of luca, alberto, and giulia all feel very authentic and if i watched this as a kid i would definitely have fantasized about them becoming real and being my friends like i did with the kids from cyberchase

  Disney, its time to come out of the closet. 

  I understand you are worried about how your family; Russia and China, will perceive you. It’s totally fair that you are concerned about them cutting you off. 

  But you have friends that will support you. 

  Friends, that, you have led along for years now. Most especially since “Frozen.” Friends who believe that you have intentions to live your truest self.
