A human space colony fleet is trying to find a habitable planet near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The story focuses on three young adults and the events that occur around them as the fleet faces a crisis of alien origin.

First off let me say fuck Harmony Gold. Because of their greed we’ll probably never get proper U.S. releases of the Macross franchise. Anyways onto the review.
Taking place over 40 years since the original Macross series, Macross Frontier follows one of the thousands of intergalactic fleets sent out to find inhabitable planets for humanity (and Zentradi) to continue to prosper and never face near-extinction again. The fleet encounter an unknown alien species called the Vajra, a vast network of (supposedly) mindless giant beetles that begin attacking the fleet with increasing numbers. In the midst of this war is a trio that’ll effect the outcome more than they know. Alto; an effeminate member of a private military group…
