Super cheap, super naff Friday the 13th knock off, originally altered due to a script/story clash with The Burning.
A grumbling Bigfoot-in-overalls hacks away at camp counsellors played by actors in their thirties, summoned by reasons kept unclear by a jumbled and vague back-story. Like it’s antagonist, it’s a bit of a slow, lumbering affair, too light on decent gore and too heavy on long stretches of nothing happening.
There are things to like in some of the framing as it aims for those impactful low angles and early deep focus shots in The Evil Dead. Unfortunately, even by the standards of Raimi’s film, the acting and effects are lacking. Though it is fun to see…
