the fact that some of you are pretentious enough to walk into a movie musical sequel based on a literal broadway show with a plot told entirely through abba songs that stars cher to then walk out of it and post a letterboxd review calling it “cheesy” or “over the top” or “ridiculous” is genuinely astonishing to me like please let yourselves have a little bit of fun every once in a while i promise it will make people like you more

A good example of someone getting more money for a sequel and doubling down on the right things that people loved about the first. Pure joy! All the musical sequences are stepped up so beautifully. Everyone in this movie is so hot!!
