A couple engage in a NSA relationship, only to inevitably discover feelings for each other.
An intriguing and engaging meditation on modern relationships and those two words we seem to find so stifling: monogamy and commitment. This is a well written film and as with most great South Korean dramas, it is well aware that in keeping things lighter and more fun, the drama is able to attach to a more human place.
It's kind of a South Korean When Harry met Sally, just 15 years later and with more explicit sex.

At first I was bored, then I was frustrated, but by the end, I was in love. What a strange piece of filmmaking.

Starts of as an ordinary South Korean romantic drama then took turn into something that is close to films like Friends With Benefits and No Strings Attached but then showed that it is much more than any of that. The similarities to the mentioned films stay only in the outline of the film as the difference in culture plays a big part there. It avoided the complexities of infidelity and showed the melancholic happiness that is found by the confused people who can't act above what the society is forcing upon them. The emotions are conveyed very subtly while the trivial events and the intimacy is portrayed in a straightforward manner without too much manipulation. The director being a former poet seem to understand exactly how to deal with real emotions.

A man in his early 30s who has yet to open himself to a serious relationship starts dating a girl approaching 30 who is desperately searching for a suitable husband,who can be socially and economically suitable rather than love.
It’s brilliantly written with the leads giving a stellar performances which will make you dwelve and get completely hooked to this beautiful fairytale movie about relationships. The scenes blend into social circumstances and with the personalities of the characters. The on screen chemistry(or rather non-chemistry) will make you fall in love with the couple. “Marriage is really a crazy thing” . I will say even love is crazy. Do watch it. Its a bittersweet one. 10/10 for me

An OK romance movie charting a couple from blind date onwards. She wanting marriage for pragmatic reasons, he not wanting to avoid all commitment. The ups and downs, waywardnesses and reluctances that that might lead to. Playacting domesticity until before you know it... Honest, real and perceptive in a showy kind of way. Lots of sex scenes in that same kind of way.
