NOMINEE- Oscars, short animation.
Beautiful animation with a touching story. There is nothing more scary to me than losing my mind. I would probably vote for this among the four nominees that I have seen.

Probably the most beautiful animated movie I’ve ever seen, I was absolutely blown away by the visuals.
This film tackles dementia in a way only animation could do, slowly turning everything around the main character into a abstract, Van Gogh inspired blur. It's often edited in a very disorienting way and it's unclear at points what's going on but I feel like that's largely intentional to put you in this headspace. The stop motion animation was breathtaking and unique, the story was heartbreaking, especially that ending. It's very good
This is one of the best short films I've ever seen. The animation was so engaging and wonderfully made. It deals with Alzheimer and how the protagonist slowly loses his mind and feels disoriented, and how this condition progresses and worsens over time.
Maybe my favorite part of it all was watching how the style of the animation changed, how it all looked more deteriorated to symbolize the man's own mind deterioration.
Memorable it's so beautiful but heartbraking.
Easily my favorite of the animated short films that were nominated aside from Kitbull. Beautiful animation, emotional, and an ending that stuck with me.

I never thought a short could make me so emotional.
This movie showed with some funny jokes the damage caused by Alzheimer. It was touching, sometimes funny, sad for the most part, moving, I’m absolutely speechless. The way the woman literally fades away as to show how she also fades away in her husband’s mind and memory broke my heart in pieces — and I spotted the tear scroll down her cheek. (Hope it wins at the Oscars!)
Short movie directors need to show feature-length film directors how you get the job done.
An interesting animation style, it honestly looked really good, but kinda creepy. I could tell where the story was going from the beginning, but it didn’t stop this from being shoot mess. It’s definitely a bit confusing, and the voice acting isn’t the greatest, but the final scene was marvellous. 2 of these have ended with dance scenes, at least this wasn’t as depressing as some of the others I’ve seen.
Part IV of V of the 2020 Oscar-Nominated Animated Shorts
Mémorable is the Synecdoche New York of animated shorts that dabbles in Altizemer’s disease and the psychological prison that it encloses. The puppet molds and set pieces are absolutely staggering and inventive, as well as its abstract depiction of memory loss. WINNER ALERT—hopefully; I’m crossing my fingers!
🎖 Verdict: 4/5
Quando sai o longa? Completamente apaixonado por essa história e por essa arte. Desculpa, Sister (meu curta de animação favorito até então), mas Memorable é de uma significância artística impressionista impressionante.
Definitely my favourite so far of all the nominees for best Animated Short at this year's Oscars, Memorable is a highly imaginative French drama that shows a man's descent into the throes of dementia. It's an absolutely wonderful use of the medium, and unless Dcera can top it, the deserved winner of the award.
An artistic representation of a man's decent into dementia. Those final moments hit hard. Beautifully realized. Possibly my pick for Animated Short Oscar.
