So silly I ended spinning my water out on a silly part of the movie so I didn’t see that coming. After the movie I could not fall asleep because I was still laughing up a storm.
This is pretty much a PG version of girls gone wild. In this case the girls are mothers who are down and depressed about their lives. So on a night they go out.....everything goes wrong. Dinner reservations are lost, kids go missing, cars go missing, hospital trips, police car chases, mistaken identity, jail trips, communication issues and many other things go wrong for our heroines.
A couple of reviews I read...complained by the religion viewpoints in the movie. I did not have any such issues....but I only managed to crack a smile a few times in this one. Final thought: This is like a pre-teen Disney tv movie. I think the younger you are the more you will like this one. So if you do not watch a lot of Disney tv...then you might want to stay away from this one.
Happy New Year everyone! Let's all have a fantastic year.
This was the last movie I watched in 2022. We all make our choices...
I don't know what I expected from a PureFlix comedy, but somehow my expectations were too high.
This wasn't as preachy as religious films usually are, and the message about loving yourself and not holding yourself to unrealistic standards isn't a bad one. However, this was so unfunny that it's anti-funny. When it comes to film, there are few things worse than a bad comedy. Bad dramas can be funny. Bad horror can be funny. Bad comedies are not funny, but rather endurance tests. The cinematography looks incredibly cheap and lazy, with some truly horrendous green…
What...................The..........................FUCK?
I just don't know, but really is this the best they could come up with, and I have a confession I have no FUCKING idea of who any FUCKING cast member is in this movie.
Really is Pureflix's best work. Which isn't saying much, but it's still good none the less.
As a Christian I admit most Christian films are just blah. Like they have good intentions and lessons, but the quality all around is always sucky. Maybe it's because of low budgets. Anyway, this film is definitely Pureflix's best work. Better characters, better acting, better story, better execution, better entertainment, really better all across the board compared to the rest of their movies.
Characters felt realistic and likable.
The Marco character was relatable. I too freak out about the simplest of tasks, really it comes to lack of confidence.
Also Sean Astin should've been in the movie a little bit longer. He's such a…
File under "one crazy night" films. Just this one is cleaner than most.
My wife identifies with this movie. Stressed out moms are nothing new, the Rolling Stones sang about "Mother's Little Helper" back in the 1966. In fact, the beginning of the film they show just how much this mom needs a break and my wife started tearing up because she remembers those days vividly (we had 4 boys in 7 years).
So, the mom decides to go out with some friends and her good husband fully supports her (as I always did with my wife). But things don't go as planned and soon spiral out of control, beginning with a restaurant reservation mess up, moving to a bowling…
