“It does not bring luck.”
Mozart is a Murderer is a 1999 made for television giallo film directed by Sergio Martino which follows after Chiara, a violinist at the conservatory, is brutally murdered after a performance, and inspector Maccari is put on the case.
Sergio Martino’s final foray into the giallo, Mozart is a Murderer looks pretty tv, with flat cinematography and a lack of visual flair the director was known for.
The story, whilst not the most engaging, is fine and the cast are passable, though it’s hard not to want one of his usuals in the roles.
Still, there are worse ways to spend 96 minutes and I definitely liked it more than Cannibal God. Mild recommend.
