I had just finished watching “Frances Ha” for the first time at the strong urging of a friend.
In short: I cried. It was black & white beauty. My heart felt sugary and warm and I wanted to the feeling to carry me to sleep. Just one more film before bed.
I clicked the ‘More Like This’ tab, and immediately came across a movie titled, “My Happy Family.” The synopsis amused me greatly: A Georgian mother who disrupts her household when she abruptly announces she will be moving out to live alone. It sounded so much like what my mom would preach.
