A novice teenage witch attempts to woo the love of her life with a love potion, but when things spiral out of control, more twisted measures are taken to win her heart.
This movie is an all around masterpiece. Auteure director Jordan Pfeifer draws out a career high performance from Billy Gould, whose understated (even subdued) demeanor forms the quiet backbone of the film.
You can’t see it in most movies, but the masterful script supervision really shines through here. Perhaps the finest script supe work in the history of horror.
Overall, a thrilling and unique trip that sinks its hooks in deep and doesn’t let go until the credits roll. 10/10.
A poppy, horny, SweeTarts-colored Tales from the Crypt episode. Short, sweet, and morbidly fun. Proud to call this talented director my girlfriend. Check it out!
