Nikki has a solid set that is performed for the wrong audience. What's clearly a bar set is performed on a round stage where she's in the center of the room. Stuff that normally works clearly doesn't get laughs. I'd love to see a second take at a comedy club on a Saturday night with a small audience.

Interesting thesis for a set as well; funny lady, good set, wrong crowd.

There should be a tag on Netflix for straight people shit.

I've followed Nikki Glaser from her different talk-show appearances and her radio show. I find her very charismatic, funny and down to earth. Yes, this whole set is focused on lewd sex jokes, but her confidence and stage presence are so on point. Bangin' had me cracking up a lot. If you're okay with dirty jokes - check it out.

Glaser is hilariously blunt. She’s also very smart.

Her comedy is tinged with a subtle anger. While she actively pokes fun at rah-rah feminism among comedians, her damn near torturous descriptions of blow jobs and other sex acts likely do more to sell a message to uneducated guys than anyone else could. My only real objection here is that the material seems a bit too stretched by a run time over an hour. Solid special.

2019: First to Worst (Stand-up)

I'd always wondered just who Nikki Glaser was when she would pop up on those Comedy Central Roasts that I love so much, and now I know just why she gets labelled with such horrible names by her fellow roasters. This Netflix Special is filthy, and that reputation she's got seemed fully justified by the content of this stand-up. We get everything here, from her views on blow-jobs which seemed to last forever during this show, to relationship advice and her proclivities in the bedroom. She states her views with such conviction that it's hard to tell whether she's being serious or not, she's obviously a good comedienne or a very good liar, but she is entertaining while she's doing it. Explicit would be a good word for her, she doesn't hold back, and although I enjoyed a lot of her schtick, she reminded me of a skinny and slightly less funny version of Amy Schumer?

I rarely find myself noticing the audience of a stand-up comedy special when a comedian isn’t forcing some kind of participation, so it was a bit surprising to me that I was able to pick up on awkward crowd vibes during a watch of Nikki Glaser: Bangin’ (2019). My best guess is that Glaser’s blatantly offensive style is better suited to a more intimate, less produced atmosphere, like a bar or other small venue, when live audiences are involved.

Even Salt N Peppa would be exhausted by someone talking about sex for an hour straight

Nikki Glaser’s been on my radar since seeing her appearances on @midnight and the odd celebrity roast, so I was intrigued when her first Netflix special, BANGIN’, was released.

To be honest, after the first 10 minutes, I was tempted to turn it off because the jokes weren’t landing for me (her timing felt off, due to nerves or clumsy delivery), but out of respect, I persisted, and I’m glad I did.

Once Glaser hit her stride, not only did I feel seen, I was laughing my ass off. SOME hetero men (#notallmen) will feel attacked, but that’s okay, because she speaks the truth. 

Now I’m forever going to picture myself as a one-(wo)man-band at a time when I need to be concentrating and not laughing, and, for that, I hate and love you, Nikki!

We get it. You have sex. With your vagina. We're all very impressed.

If you're going to do "raunchy feminism" at least do it better than every other edgy female comedian.

The continuous joking about sex is admittedly void of creativity, but Nikki Glaser's delivery makes it so entertaining.

Nikki talks about sex for over an hour...and it's great! She honestly fools the audience by talking about sex, because her writing and delivery is incredible. I find myself laughing everytime I cross paths with Nikki's work.

Nikki Glaser is the undefeated, reigning champion of Comedy and the funniest woman of the planet.

This is pretty funny and I had a good time watching it.

Some things got a chuckle, but

Alright, I've had enough after 30 minutes.
I'm really glad I watched a couple of interviews in preparation for this. Not necessarily because I got to see more of her humor outside of sets – there really isn't much else she talks about other than sex, physical appearance, and men – but because I don't have to cut her any slack for this special.
It's just so unbelievably unfunny. It's a bunch of straight couples in a weird promo room listening to the Tomi Lahren of standup laugh at a bunch of her own jokes about sex that you've heard a million times before.
I get that Glaser wants to point out some of the curiosities of men and women through her personal stories but all I really got from it was her internalized misogyny and total lack of versatility.
