Not great but there’s a really good bit in the middle where Tom Arnold opens the door and his wife asks who it is and he bluffs and says “it’s...uh...my mom” and she says “your mom’s dead!” and he goes “I know! It’s really weird!”
Straight people can't think of any way to get off but missionary, huh. If you're really worried about the baby during sex, find another way to have sex, you boring worms. I mean, come on, how goddamned narrow minded can you possibly be. I mean, if there's some reason for being that vanilla, fine, I get it. If you have hang ups or boundaries or whatever, that's fine, but it's just not even in the realm of possibility in these movies, is it. Just. Learn how to please each other.
This is the problem with straight movies. They are reflections of patriarchy's constraints on love, passion, and sex. When the family unit is viewed entirely as a unit of control,…
Watched this last night while I was so faded bro 😹 right after the movie ended I just passed out I was in my own world bro
but this movie funny as hell I love hugh grant bro is so idk what the word is, like familiar? like you feel like you know him already 😭 idk but this was a nice watch
i watched like half of this, here’s my review: i found god when i saw jeff goldblum with hoop earrings
Why in these pregnancy movies do the men always have to be portrayed as commitment-phobic, immature dweebs? It's quite annoying. The film itself is fine, quite charming and funny, with Hugh Grant at his foppish best and a scene stealing performance from Robin Williams as a Russian doctor who mistakes a thesaurus for a clitiris. So there.
has the vibe of a fake movie that exists within the universe of another better movie starring julianne moore and hugh grant as actors in a love/hate relationship, where robin williams plays a russian OBGYN in the movie but off the set he would be a wise figure guiding them into a relationship together. jeff goldblum and joan cusack would play the charming best friends of the leads. unfortunately this movie would also suck because hugh and julianne have 0 chemistry but at least they're hot.
truly this was so pointless and bad like why did hugh grant and that random guy beat the shit out of a dinosaur mascot named arnie at a toy store??? why did julianne moore dump hugh grant for missing one appointment??? why did jeff goldblum convince hugh grant to get an earring??? eely asked within 5 minutes whether this was a remake of a foreign film and she was exactly right!!!
Naturally, a Hugh Grant character would be like, “You’re pregnant?? Wow, that’s gonna be really tough for me.”
in this movie hugh grant wears the same shirt that he was wearing in his actual mugshot which i think is special
always comforting to know that I could try my absolute hardest to make a bad movie and still not even get close to this.
