Dunno why it struck me but after getting bored of looking at 'bigger' films i'd probably like, but was anxious i really wouldn't cause they were overly simple or broad, on Netflix, i just searched for Mae Whitman and plucked straight for this one.
Is good. Maybe not a nicely or smoothly played out as it could, but enjoyable, and interesting in a 'oh that's interesting...no wait, it's a pretty simple premise, but i quite like the little touches' kind of way, and has a lot of things going for it.
I think i'm gonna watch Parenthood for Mae Whitman now. And also just search for actors rather than wheel away through Netflix. But errm, yay Mae Whitman!
