Shabby, but fun, little TV movie involving a futurecop coming back to the past to capture Adam Ant, and teaming up with his great-grandfather who is poised to revolutionize policing...if only he can get the respect of his fellow officers.
Out of Time has that late 80's future aesthetic down, which is most of the fun. Bruce Abbott's time traveler is kind of an idiot, seemingly unaware of how anything works a mere 100 years ago, while Bill Maher's frustrated 80's cop is an interesting mix of benevolent futurist and unabashed glory-hound.
Adam Ant isn't given much to do, aside from being British and vaguely menacing, while Rebecca Schaeffer is good as the human McGuffin everyone is fighting over.

From Columbia comes this lame sci-fi movie cheap efx cheap production and directed by Robert Butler and stars Bruce Abbott a total waste of time skip this POS.
Sometimes I just look up and watch failed Sci Fi TV pilots on YouTube, there are tons. This is among the duller ones.
"Captain, I'm not stupid. I know Marcus is dangerous. That's why I wore my energy proof vest."

If this thing ever comes out on DVD I best not reveal the twist, but it's probably pretty predictable, though even so, still fun to watch. I knew of Bill Maher before he was Bill Maher the hated talkshow host. He even did an episode of Max Headroom, so when he ended up with a Talk Show, I was like, "hey that's the guy…
