a ridiculously enjoyable film. so well shot, but also such a tightly told and fun story. has so much heart and tenderness, but also understands that scams and chase sequences are fucking cool.

Platt and Bogdanovich’s final collaboration was their absolute best in my book. Both O’Neal and his daughter are great here, helped equally by good performances and their real life father/daughter relationship. Entirely character driven in the best way urging through various escapades. A great “....do crimes” movie with a big funny and poignant heart.

Charming film, with little Addie (played by Tatum O’Neal, who won an Oscar at the age of 10!) as absolute star.
