In this urban fairytale, three lost souls – fallen angels, perhaps – who have waved farewell to the last vestiges of their sanity, venture far beyond the bounds of their incarceration, navigating what, for them, seems like unchartered territory via walls, fences, ledges and precarious walkways. They cling to the skin of the world, which they believe is soon to be no more. Along the way, one of them discovers religion. And then one of them perishes. Before long, the journey culminates for the abiding duo. And then the world ends, for one of them, at least – but in truth, both.
Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
