  School was closed today, so I took my young charge to see the program for children at the local cinema. It was supposed to be a series of three Iranian cartoons, but the birthday cake with the film in it had not yet arrived, so the program was changed at the last minute. The ticket vendor said it was Pompon Ours, which we had already seen together (and which I found less than impressive). The vendor was wrong, though. It was a series of short avant-garde Korean films, mainly about birds.
