Sorry, I just... what? I'm not sure I get it. I think this is intending to be Dadaist nonsense satirising the potential horrors that environmentalists deal with, and the brick walls they run into while trying to explain the scale of the crisis to powerful authorities. But if it's aiming for complete nonsense, there are far too many actual jokes in it. Stacking three comical disabilities on the policeman is funny as a piece of hyperbolic absurdism, but each one is played for genuine laughs, albeit badly.
So there's a strong chance that I completely misread this and it was supposed to be an absurd but genuine message film. In which case, what is it trying to say about the…
A hysterically funny horror comedy short, that somehow found its way onto the shortlist, even if it porbably has no chance to actually get nominated. I laughed out loud several times. It's hilarious, and probably my favorite of the bunch I have seen so far.
2023 Oscars: Live Action Shorts - #2
A fun, fresh film about the murderous power of plastic and the difficulty of removing it from our daily lives.
Found the story to be a bit lacking but there are some good quirky laughs in there for sure
This was just so strange but I dug it. The film took a lot of risks, and while I don’t think they all panned out it still worked for me. This definitely stands out from the other shorts just for how weird it is. I have no idea how this got shortlisted by the Oscars but I’m glad it did.

Utterly ridiculous premise that works mostly thanks to the commitment of the actors, Laura Gómez-Lacueva reminded me of a young Chus Lampreave.
This horror comedy would fall flat if not for the commitment of it's stars. Weird but funny!
A crítica está ali e o nível de absurdo chega a ser cômico, mas mais pelo ridículo do que qualquer outra coisa. É o You’re Dead Hélène dessa temporada, mas sem o brilho do mesmo.
