Dirty Secrets, Motions to Satisfy, Invasive Treatments
This may just legitimtly be one of the funniest series of shorts I've seen in a while.
Invasive Treatment is almost my experience at the Dr. when I MRSA on my ass.
Two thing I want to say before reviewing:
One: A big thank thank thank thank you to all of you for reaching 100 FOLLOWERS!
When I started this profile in 2020; I didn't thought in any way that someday I will reach such a number.......I thought that no one will ever read my reviews, commenting or liking on my reviews and lists, I was just a stupid little unnoticeable ant among people who are more successful and famous than me; and I mean the difference is like lightyears.
Thank you very much for proving me wrong, and I love every single one of you.
Second: I was absent for a long time from shorts and that because I had a…
Three shot-on-video shorts that hilariously juxtapose 90s porn tropes with the tragic, banal or just plain gross. I laughed *so* much.
A collection of three short films that demonstrate their understanding of porno conventions. One is the plumber scenario, the other is with a boss, the last is with a doctor.
Visible conventions include: many cowboy and full shots, large depth of field, cheesy music, dissolves, characters in each other’s personal space, camp delivery of dialogue, euphemisms in dialogue, and a MacGuffin.

Does this deserve such a high rating? Maybe not but my gosh is it hilarious. Honestly it did exactly what I expected from it and it was gr8. It’s an exploration of 90s porno tropes and the lack of sexual content puts it in perspective and highlights the absurdity present. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m here for it all the way.
It’s exactly what you’re expecting based on the title, but in a good way, ya know? All aspects done so superbly well, all the nuance accounted for. Cheers to the Mr. Hyde Laura Moss! Very interested in what else she has to offer.
