Because of its mixed reception — and my own ambivalent attitude toward the Alien franchise — it’s taken me awhile to see this movie. But quarantine has meant a little more time for movies, and I’ve been using the opportunity to catch up on blockbusters I missed in the last decade.
My verdict on PROMETHEUS?
It fucks.
That’s not to say it is a perfect or flawless film — it has deep problems, including inexplicably stupid behavior of key characters and a muddled and inconsistent tone.
