Psíquico 3: Este es Gus
The third time is the charm with the "Psych" films as they finally decided to make one manic, antic-filled episode of what we loved most about the TV show and my God, somehow it works.
The problem with the first two, despite those both being enjoyable, is that they knew they were television movies and therefore the structure of them feels off, as it were. The second one, Lassie Come Home tried to evade this feeling with all its might and though I felt it succeeded mostly at this, I feel this third and final (??) does it best.
This is Gus not only thinks it's just an episode of the show, but knows it is and has its fun…
Never seen all of the show,
But the wife calls herself a "Psych-o".
Shawn and Gus,
Will cause a fuss,
If there's info they need to know.
This definitely felt like a great episode from the original series, which makes me hope the Psych gang continues to make these every year or so. It feels like they get to extend the show for as long as they want without the commitment that goes with a full-fledged TV show. I found Psych 3 to be even more enjoyable than the last two.
