  Honestly? Fuck anyone who hates this movie. I don't even wanna talk to you.

  One of the best comedies made in my lifetime. One of those laugh every two seconds movies that has me smiling throughout and I will never get bored of it.

  Probably my favorite "soft remake" ever.

  A second viewing of this (for Sub-Cult) bumped it up from "Some funny stuff" to "actually kind of great. Terrible poster, terrible opening credits, not great name, but very solidly funny and sometimes hilarious.

  Smash Mouth

  Why isn't Rat Race revered more? The ensemble cast is perfect (Whoopi Goldberg and Lanei Chapman are my favorite contestants), and I love how far Jerry Zucker is willing to go for a single joke, not in terms of offensiveness but big set pieces (re: Monster truck of death, helicopter rage). And I don't care what people say. The ending makes my heart swell, and the film in general is the perfect medicine for the dumpster fire that is 2020.

  It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad World might be a classic filled with a great star-studded cast comprised of icons cracking up jokes and going through a series of fun misfortunes – but I’m sorry classic film snobs and cinephiles, but that movie pales in comparison to the sheer brilliance of this wacky reboot. Young Zucker brother is hitting all the cylinders delivering some of the spoof nonsense, over the top humor that made him and his brother and his friend Abrams famous in the first place. Its humor might seem dated, but for me it leans more towards the unapologetic.
