  A must for anyone who is even remotely concerned about equality. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a Supreme Court Justice that has fought for women and men’s rights from the early days in her career. The documentary is well-balanced, entertaining, and thorough. 

  Me 25 minutes into the documentary: 
  I think I should go to law school. RBG is in her 80s, so even with a late start, I could really do some good. 

  Me after hearing how she worked until 3 or 4 a.m. and usually got 2 hours of sleep:
  Nah, that’s okay. I just don’t think I’m cut out for this. 

  She truly is an amazing woman. Even though the consensus was that she was a serious person, moments of humor broke through. 

  Vegan alert:
  -There was some talk of RBG cooking fish. 
  -RBG rode elephants with Justice Scalia in India. 

  This is the 208th film I’ve watched using Movie Pass.

  Textureless hagiography with a handful of semi-interesting moments about RBG's judicial philosophy and early work advocating for women's rights as a lawyer in the '70s and '80s, and a million boring stretches about her love of opera and her beautiful friendship with Antonin Scalia. Cannot decide whether RBG is a canny pragmatist or a liberal firebrand, and so instead decides that these two things are the same. Climaxes with a section about how her fiery dissents led to an online fan culture around "Notorious RBG," which strikes me as less important than the fact that they were dissents. Minus 1,000 points for playing clips of Kate McKinnon's SNL impression, which I actually had never seen until today and which is a "rappin' granny" joke.

  i was heartbroken when i heard about ruth bader ginsburg’s passing yesterday, and even more so now after having watched this documentary. 
  a wonderful portrait of the feminist icon and truly groundbreaking justice that she was, this documentary gives us a glimpse into her ambitious character, revolutionary work and influential legacy that she leaves behind. ruth bader ginsburg quite literally changed the course of history, and it is to her and her unwavering spirit that we owe so many of today’s almost taken-for-granted rights. the determination and strength she needed to make her voice heard as a woman in the 1950s, and above all how she eventually used her voice, are unbelievably inspiring to me, and, as corny as it may sound, remind me not to take everything for granted. 
  i cried so much throughout this documentary, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. the loss of this feminist pioneer is immeasurable. rest in peace judge ginsburg.

  My 73 year old neighbor and I were both very underwhelmed by this. Her critique was that, even at 97 minutes, witnessing Ruth Bader Ginsberg's ascension to the supreme court in real life seemed to take less time than watching this movie. I wasn't inclined to disagree, as some sections of this documentary on one of our greatest champions of gender equality almost made me nod off on a full stomach of cold press coffee. I haven't watched a limited release documentary with such production value this bad for quite a few years.

  Let's get one thing perfectly clear, Ruth Bader Ginsberg is an American hero and one of the few voices of sanity in our government today. Her hard…
