Gotta say, good palette cleanser after watching I Spit On Your Grave.
This was just good dumb 80s fun. The sets, the outfits, the premise, and the main character were all ridiculously 80s. The female lead wore a shiny sci-fi spacesuit the whole time and the male lead had chrome shin guards on top of his relatively normal outfit.
I'm not sure what the writers were going for, but Cosmo felt like a part of some larger franchise, like this was just one of his many capers. At one point he asked a cop nearly twice his age to do him a favor "for old time's sake." I want to know what kind of history these…
