In a near-future world, where individuals have their memories downloaded for backup, a man awakes in a body that is not his own.
Clever, futuristic The Wrong Man story with some deliciously horrifying implications.
Makes the worst case of "Conflicting Changes" my Evernote has ever experienced look like a mild case of the sniffles. (Other, more on-the-nose, alternate title suggestion: "Restore From Time Machine Backup? Y/N")
Neatly twists its Philip K. Dick premise (by way of Star Trek "there are two Kirks/Rikers!" episodes) on a couple of "holy shit!" moments that make the whole thing super fun to watch. Flawlessly executed on a technical level, too... I kind of want to see this expanded into a TV series, it's better produced than most pilots.
Absolutely fantastic premise, really well done. Very well acted, good sound design ... the premise and story execution I was particularly impressed by. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
Very well done and pretty good. Showcases some ethical dilemmas of backing up and restoring memories, especially if 'mistakes' are made.
Well-executed , but I wish it was adapted into a longer format to give more time to dwell on the story and characters.
